We have committed to producing another benefit compilation CD here at the Secret Hideout, this time for Flagstaff's Whale Foundation. Our first such project, the Border Songs CD has already become the biggest fundraiser in the history of Tucson-based No More Deaths/No Más Muertes!
We have also (finally!) picked-up where we left off on a new Chuck Cheesman CD. It will get done this year.
September 2012
We have finally completed assembly of the Double CD Border Songs. We have a CD release concert planned for October 12th. Here at the Secret Hideout, we are getting back to work on the recording project I began in April — a new collection of original Chuck Cheesman songs.
June 2012
It's a busy, busy month here at the secret hideout.
- We just recorded a song by Flagstaff songwriter/politico Avtar Khalsa for an upcoming Shot by Gunn picture.
- We've been pushing forward steadily on our Border Songs CD Project. In fact, today we've had the pleasure of announcing Michael Franti and Spearhead as participating artists!
- Somehow - between everything else - we're still making a new Chuck Cheesman record. Really!
